AREAS OF RESEARCH
Dr. Senft's research interests center on understanding the mechanisms by which respiratory viruses predispose the lung to secondary bacterial infection. Currently, the research is focused on understanding how respiratory viruses subvert alveolar macrophage anti-microbial functions.
