Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute (LRRI) has 50 years of experience performing research with high-risk agents and compounds requiring the use of containment laboratories and animal housing facilities. LRRI operates 500,000 sq. ft. of research facilities including 50,000 sq. ft of containment space for chemical, radiological, and biological materials. This includes 20,000 sq. ft. of levels 2 and 3 biocontainment safety laboratories. LRRI is experienced, licensed, and certified by regulating agencies such as the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
